Arrive 10 Minutes Early
Check in at the gate, sign your waiver, and get a quick orientation. Arriving a few minutes early keeps the class running smoothly for everyone.

What to Bring
Your dog on a standard flat leash (no retractable), proof of current vaccinations, and water for your pup. We'll handle everything else.

Plan for 30–60 Minutes
Each dog runs a full 12-station course. Total time on-site depends on how many dogs you bring — and we give any dog that needs it extra time. On hot days we'll also take heat breaks as needed, which can add time.

You walk the entire 12-station course alongside your dog and our trainer. It's a hands-on experience — you're right there for every step.

Booking FAQs

How do I book a spot? ▾
Select a date and time slot above. You'll be prompted to complete payment securely through Stripe.
Can I bring more than one dog? ▾
Yes — book a separate spot for each dog. Each runs their own full 12-station course, so plan on extra time if you're bringing multiple dogs. If the schedule doesn't show enough open times for all of them, contact us anyway — at times we can accommodate additional dogs beyond what appears available online, and we may be able to add a date if none of the posted ones work.
What's the cancellation policy? ▾
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you in an upcoming class.
Where is the Santa Clarita Ranch? ▾
Our ranch is tucked away in the hills in the northeastern corner of Santa Clarita, among other rural properties. We train in the back of the property around a giant horse arena on a trail that simulates real-world hiking and hunting environments — authentic rattlesnake country. The address is 30035 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350. Plan for a short drive into the hills once you're in the area.
Do classes run rain or shine? ▾
We train in most weather conditions. In the rare event of an extreme weather cancellation, registered attendees will be notified immediately and offered the next available class at no charge.
Do I need to be there? ▾
Yes — and your presence is a key part of the training. You'll actively walk the entire course alongside your dog, and you play a fundamental role in the process. When your dog shows avoidance behavior at each station, you and our handlers will praise together — but timing is everything. Wait for our handler to begin praising first, then join in. Our handlers are watching your dog very closely, and the moment they see genuine avoidance is the exact moment praise must happen — not before, and not after. Be careful not to praise too early: what looks like avoidance may be a correction, sniffing, or disinterest. The positive reinforcement comes from you — the person your dog trusts most. The more engaged and attentive you are, the stronger the results.
What if I want a private session at my home? ▾
We offer private at-home sessions for $500 + $150 per dog + $2/mile travel, within about 100 miles. Learn more and book one.
